Website redesign for a private clinic
What we're building
A new website for an orthopaedic and sports medicine clinic in Piešťany — a design built on the story of an Olympic team doctor, a mobile version, clear booking, and an online booking system and English and Arabic versions in preparation.
The original state
The clinic's original website looked like a generic template: a brown gradient, a blurred photograph and general sentences that would fit any practice. It did not use the clinic's most valuable asset — MUDr. Roman Fano, doctor to Slovak Olympic teams, and his three decades with top athletes. A visitor could not clearly see which clinics are there, who practises in them and how to book. The website also had no language version, even though patients from abroad come to the clinic.
What I proposed
Build the website around trust, not general phrases. The main character is the doctor and his real story — the Olympic Games, awards and the original certificates hanging on the clinic wall. A dark, calm design with gold details should feel like a private clinic, not an office. Each clinic has its own page with its doctor and contact, booking takes a few clicks, and the next step adds an online booking system and English and Arabic versions for patients from abroad.
What is being delivered
A new design and the whole website for desktop and mobile were created. A homepage with the main message “Back to movement”, a doctor's page with his professional story, and an Olympic archive — from Sydney 2000 to Beijing 2022 with photographs of the real certificates. Six clinics have their own pages with the doctor, opening hours and contact. Sections were added on the clinic's premises and Piešťany, interviews and videos with the doctor, a visit in three steps, questions before a visit and information for patients from abroad. The booking system and the English and Arabic versions are being prepared.

The resulting state
The new website is finished as a preview and is being prepared for deployment on the clinic's domain. The booking system and language versions are being built alongside. The original website stays live until the clinic approves the new one and we launch it.
Results will be added as they come in
As the new website has not launched on the live domain yet, we are not evaluating results yet. The redesign and mobile version are finished; the booking system and language versions are being completed. Results will be added after launch.
